4 dads, 4 moms, 7 kids and 1 football game

Is it old news to post about the Superbowl now? If it is, oh well! Yesterday was a very busy day. I didn’t even get to do my Wii Fit workout. : ( I had so much fun at our Steelers Superbowl Party I just had to post. I even have photographic evidence thanks to Freckle.

It was a great game. My husband loved that he got to actually enjoy watching the Steelers in the Superbowl and not be wrong about virtually everything that came out of his mouth (like the last Steelers Superbowl with my dad).

Pittsburgh's own, Iron City Beer, was present.


The kids had a blast and played for 7 hours straight. And they say homeschooled kids lack socialization. I say p’sha!


The moms, well, we sat around the dining room table drinking wine, eating a bit, talking a lot and Freckle and I…well we knitted…and knitted…and knitted and oh yes, we knitted.


I kept an eye on the score of the game and the time remaining. And for the last two minutes of a very good and a very close game everyone was on their feet. Shouting at the TV and cheering as the Pittsburgh Steelers won the Superbowl.

It was their 6th Superbowl win (the only team ever to win 6 Superbowls). And I say again – GO STEELERS!! And in the end, I had a very happy husband. : )
