Disney World!

After a long day of flying from Portland to Orlando (through Atlanta) we finally landed around 11pm. We got our luggage and boarded the Magical Express to go to our hotel and see the Lizard King for the first time in three months. It was a 30 minute drive that seemed to last forever. Nearing our hotel, Princess and I were on the edge of our seats. As we pulled up in front of the hotel entrance, I was scanning the area for LK. Then I saw him sitting on a bench (on the edge of his seat) waiting for us to arrive.

As soon as the doors to the bus opened Princess and I descended the steps and LK came running. He picked up Princess, holding her tightly to him, wrapping an arm around me and pulling be into the embrace as we all cried. It doesn't happen often, and it always amazes me when he tears up.

By the time we got to sleep, it was 2am. We had a 9:15 reservation to have breakfast with the Princesses. That so didn't happen. Princess rolled over and continued sleeping when we tried to wake her at 8:30. We let her sleep. Fortunately we were able to reschedule (after calling everyday, hoping for a cancellation).

I didn't take as many photos as the last time, but got lots of Princess with character she met.

I asked Princess what her favorite thing was about Disney World. She told me that was a really hard question. She liked the rides and Kim Possible spy missions at Epcot and of course, seeing Daddy.

It looks like you had fun!

I can't imagine my daughter being separated from her Daddy for 3 months. I teared up a little at the idea.

Princess' personality is really showing through in some of these pics! What a little cutie!

You teared me up too btw. So glad you had a great trip together!

Aliceson, the princesses are all amazing. The cool thing, my Princess knows that the princesses at DW aren't real. It just doesn't matter. She gets caught up in the magic of it all.

Frau, the photo with Princess and Cinderella is one of my favorites, too. The time with spent with LK was amazing. Thank you for your prayers for his safety.

Kelly, it is a very sad thought. I cannot wait until this time is over. 86 more days until we see LK again!

Lisa, besides seeing LK, my favorite thing about Disney World is watching Princess experience it all. It was truly a magical time.

I too got tears in my eyes while reading about your reunion. So very sweet.

And I hope Princess doesn't mind, but since I've never been to Disney World (and have wanted to go for over 30 years) I'm going to live vicariously through her.

Awesome pics, thanks so much for sharing your trip. :)

Well Zayna, Princess doesn't know what vicariously means, but I'm sure she'd be fine with it. ;)

We are looking forward to the next reunion...no matter where it is. :D

What an exciting trip! I love the photos of Princess with Goofy and Cinderella, but my absolute favorite is the one of the three of you together again. :)

Sherry, yes I'd have to agree. Together is good. 85 more days...
