Helping My Child Heal

Some of you may remember an earlier post My Child's Pain from the end of last year. We tried so many things and nothing worked...until we tried something called NAET. There are many who think this is a scam, but the woman providing the treatment is a member of our Village Home community and I decided to trust her. She was certain she could help Princess to heal. Within weeks, Princess' skin began to improve. Within two months her skin was almost completely healed. She continues to have some minor skin issues and we haven't been able to eliminate the itching, but the difference is incredible.

The NAET practitioner also suspected that Princess had Celiac Disease. We had her tested and confirmed that this was true. Princess has been off gluten for a couple of months now. This may have helped further her improvement, but I do want to say that the gluten avoidance started after we witnessed improvement from the NAET. I am sold on NAET with our practitioner, Shelley Lowrie. Are you local? Contact her here! We are still working with Shelley to completely eliminate all of Princess' skin issues. I love when I find an alternative that really works!!

That's stinky that she has Celiac disease; but I'm glad you have some answers and that princess is feeling better.

I am a homeschooling Mom of a severely atopic/allergic girl. She is 10 and the light of my life. Seeing some of your little girl's pics reminds me so much of my daughter. She is now homeschooled as school made her so sick. You can e-mail me if you like or stop by my blog.http://itchyhomeschooler.blogspot.com/

I am glad you were able to find something that worked for your princess :) In the world of sever E that is rare. My dd too has a blog where i try to encourage her to talk about her feelings about being left out of activities because of E (school etc)

Hang in there. There are good days and bad days and things can get really gnarly sometimes. You know the days where you hide in the bathroom so she won't see you cry...I've been there and know I'll be there off and on some more. That's being a parent I guess.

Aliceson and SMT, thanks so much!!

Lisa, adjusting to gluten free was some work, but things are going really well! We had to replace lots of things in our kitchen...appliances, utensils and other equipment which was costly but necessary. The best investment was the bread machine. We make yummy GF bread!!

Marlis, thanks so much for stopping by my blog. Princess is feeling so much better from the great NAET results that she has told me that she wants to play soccer again. She is also acting like her old self again. It really is amazing and I highly recommend it to anyone who can find a qualified practitioner.

We are thrilled, Colleen! We are still working to completely heal Princess, but it feels so good to see such great results and know that she is on her way to complete health.
