Jump Rope

Three years ago, Princess wanted to buy this jump rope.

I didn't hesitate, but I did wonder how things would go. Princess was perfectly happy to flip the rope over her head, let in land in front of her, and jump over it. She was jumping rope and she was ecstatic. Then the rope made its way into a drawer and there it sat for quite some time...until recently.

Princess is a determined little girl.

I love the determination. So is this unschooling phys. ed.? ;)

Violet uses her jump rope to tie up her dolls. Maybe I need to show her how to use it?

Wow, those are great shots! And I'd consider that phys ed. AND...I'm sure that's more phys ed than they get in traditional schools now. lol (although that's really not funny, ha ha). It's a cryin shame that they've cut it out so much and gotten rid of recess for the most part. Then they complain kids are obcese. Uhhhh

Heck ya! She is one determined girl! I can't jump rope to save my life now the bladder can't take it. Sad getting older and fat!

So Kelly...that's how Violet rolls! ;)

Thanks SMT! She's pretty proud of herself.

Sheila, I hear you! Princess gets lots of Phys. Ed. and recess...one of the many advantages of homeschooling. :)

She is a determined one, Frau! I'm with you, though. I can't jump rope or a trampoline or anything. Childbirth (and the fact that I didn't do my kegel exercises) ruined me for that. :(

Ji, thanks so much for stopping by my blog and commenting!! It's great to see you here! Glad you enjoyed the post. :)

Freckle...damn! You caught me, but I fixed it. Ha! ;P
