Can you guess where we're going? ; )

We are starting back to Village Home (our homeschool school) on September 15th. Both Princess and I are very excited. As she gets older there are more class opportunities for her. She is able to choose more classes than ever before and the options are very cool.

Move & Groove - a modern dance class

Yoga - a child & parent class

Magic Tree House - read the books and then bring them to life

Sing, Dance & Play (that I teach!)

Young Adventurers - play time, story time, crafts, etc.

Story of the World: Ancient History - a fabulous history class. We've been working on this at home, but not that much. I thought this would be fun for Princess.

Acting Out! - drama for the oh so dramatic Princess

Doesn't this look like a fun term?! Our terms last 10 weeks, finishing the Thursday before Thanksgiving.

Princess will also take ballet and swimming classes outside of Village Home. Wow! We have a very busy schedule! If we find that it's too much, we can always cut back.

There are many advantages to homeschooling. One of my favorites is the freedom it gives us. We could choose to pick up right now and go to South Carolina to be with the Lizard King. I don't think that would be in Princess' best interest. So we have chosen to stay here and enjoy the summer with our friends.

The Sunday after the term ends, Princess and I are getting on a plane and flying to South Carolina for SEVEN WEEKS! Yes, our winter break from Village Home is long and we are spending all of it with the Lizard King.

Since South Carolina is so close to Florida, we decided to go back to Disney World! You may recall we went to Disney World in January with my parents. This was the final straw that led to the breakdown in the relationship. The trip was as good as it could be under the circumstances, but it was not what we had hoped for. We didn't get to do a lot of things the way we wanted to, the way Princess would have loved. Now we get a do-over...and we are so excited!
