Family Tree

Princess and I are having way too much fun with the eclectic homeschooling thing. We listened to the introductory chapter (on CD) of Story of the World the Ancients, where we learned what history is and how archaeologists play a part. The first type of history we talked about was Princess' history. We then read a book called "Me and My Family Tree". It is a suggested story in the activity book and we got it from my favorite place...the library! After reading the story Princess wanted to make her own family tree.

She is also in the process of interviewing us for a booklet she is making about the history of our little family.

I hope to prepare an archaeological dig for her some time in the next week or so. Wish me luck!

Where did you get the calendar in the background of your photo? I am starting to watch preschool children and I want to set up a school like setting. ~Tami
